Pastor Ezekiel Friday Atang, who served as the senior minister and general overseer of God's House of Refuge has been reportedly quite the scene on Monday 21th February, 2022 at aged 49.
Sudden death of pastor Ezekiel Atang was made known to the public by his friend and colleague in faith, pastor Charles Awuzie through a Facebook post which reads in part "Rest in Peace pastor Ezekiel Atang.
I remember how we connected... On 4th may 2013, at 2:30pm your Facebook account was hacked and you contacted me by 2:39pm. By 3pm same day. We caught the hackers and that became a bonding point - unfortunately when I dumped organized religion, we lost that beautiful relationship" - Awuzie, a South African- based recalled.
Born on 14th March, 1972, Pastor Ezekiel Atang became famous after organizing a marital counseling programme tag.
"Single Frank Talk" which seeks to advice unmarried guys and ladies on how to build good homes and relationships when getting married.
The late pastor Ezekiel Atang was also a founder of fresh wine for couples international, an international organization that nurture and settle marital issues through conferences and seminar.
This conferences have been held in other countries apart from Nigeria such as USA in places like Chicago, Philadelphia state as well as West African nations like Ghana, among others.
The departed minister of God hailed from Ikot Udota village, Eket Local Government of Akwa Ibom state.
Ezekiel Atang was 4th child born into the family of L.t cdr. Friday and Mrs. Rebecca Atang.
He had his primary education at Nigerian Navy primary school, Apapa, Lagos.
He furthered his secondary education at Etinan Institute and later finished from the Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene both in Akwa Ibom state.
The late prolific writer and relationship coach, there after proceeded to the University of Calabar and obtained a Bachelor Degree in marketing before answering a divine call to join the ministry.
As a relationship expert, he has made several publication to his credit, which includes, "Understanding sex", Road signs to destiny", "Overcoming masturbation", etc.
Ezekiel Atang is married to a song writer, a medical doctor, recording artiste, singer and Pastor Dr. Dara Atang. The marriage is blessed with three children: Levi, Olive and Ephraim Atang.
However, according to Africaflavour.com.ng effort to reach the immediate family of the late man of God, pastor Ezekiel Atang to ascertain the cause of his death proved abortive.
