Transfer Window: Arsenal Youngster Sagoe Jr Signs First Professional Contract 

Charles Sagoe Jr has signed his first professional contract with Arsenal.

The 17-year-old has been with the club since July 2015, when he joined from fellow London outfit Fulham. 

Sagoe Jr has been an impressive attacking threat for the club as he came through their various age group teams in the academy. 

He played 29 games for the club’s youth sides last term, netting 10 and managing 3 assists.

“It’s an amazing feeling to sign my first professional contract with Arsenal Football Club,” he told Arsenal Media.

“I see the project that Mikel Arteta and Per Mertesacker are doing, how they’re developing young players and I want to be a part of it.”
