Israel reports 'large' battles with Hamas in Gaza ground fighting
A "public health catastrophe" is imminent in Gaza, according to the World Health Organization.
As we reported earlier, water, food, and fuel are in short supply, as Israel's blockade continues. Hospitals are also running out of medicine and power.
WHO spokesperson Christian Lindmeier says: "It's an imminent public health catastrophe that looms with the mass displacement, the overcrowding, the damage to water and sanitation infrastructure."
He also called for fuel to be allowed into Gaza to allow a water desalination plant to operate.
