President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, have received praise from a social-cultural group in the North Central zone operating under the auspices of the Plateau Humanitarian Vanguard for their swift action in responding to the predicament of communities that were recently attacked by gunmen in Plateau State. 

According to PUNCH Online, gunmen in the Plateau State local government areas of Bokkos and Barkin Ladi set fire to roughly 221 homes on Christmas Eve, killing over 100 people.
