A week after his sister Bobbie Jean Carter passed away unexpectedly, Nick Carter took to Instagram once more to deliver a touching message and an insight into his family's lives. 

A week after the unexpected loss of his sister Bobbie Jean Carter, Nick Carter took to Instagram to share a touching family moment. 

The 43-year-old Backstreet Boys singer posted a video of his 7-year-old son Odin, who plays golf, with his wife Lauren Kitt Carter on December 30. 

Nick compliments the child, "Great shot!" after he swings and hits a ball. "Saoirse, 4, and Pearl, 2," are Nick and Lauren's daughters, respectively, and they captioned the photo "Cherishing these moments."

According to authorities last week, Bobbie Jean was discovered unconscious in her Tampa, Florida, home's bathroom on December 23. 

She was taken to a hospital and later declared dead. Although Bobbie Jean's official cause of death has not yet been made public, her mother Jane Carter verified her demise. 

"I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean," she stated to TMZ, "and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time."
