Gypsy Rose Blanchard met her family at a welcome-home celebration following her release from jail, where she had been imprisoned for seven years for her involvement in her mother's murder.

As a free woman, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is savoring family time. The 32-year-old Missourian celebrated her release from prison by getting back together with her loved ones.

She had spent seven years behind bars for her part in the death of her mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard, whom she had accused of abuse.

On December 29, Gypsy posted a picture of herself during her welcome-home celebration beside 22-year-old Mia Blanchard, one of father Rod Blanchard's two children with wife Kristy Blanchard. Her Instagram photo has the message "Sister Love."

One week before Lifetime's upcoming docuseries, The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, premieres, Gypsy is released from prison.

In the show, Gypsy describes the years of abuse she claims she endured at the hands of her mother.

Gypsy had stated in court that Dee Dee had kept her away from the outside world, forced her to have needless medical procedures, forced her to use a wheelchair, and had informed family members that she had cancer and other illnesses.

According to her father, who spoke with ABC's 20/20, their daughter had "leukemia, paralyzed, muscular dystrophy," and "was also using a wheelchair and now had a feeding tube." His ex has informed him this information.

Police found that Gypsy was in good health and could walk without assistance after apprehending her.
